Citi Supports Local Initiatives to Prevent and End Veteran Homelessness

Last month, we featured an article highlighting Citi's support of NCHV and national efforts to end veteran homelessness. Citi's support and expertise is changing the landscape at the national level, and progress made over the past several years would not be possible without the company's engagement in our mission to end homelessness among veterans.

In addition to national-level involvement, Citi is on the ground in communities across the country helping to provide housing, financial literacy training, and other vital resources for veterans and homeless veterans.

The following videos showcase some of the organizations that Citi partners with to make an impact in the lives of veterans who need a hand up:

  • Citi Salutes Clearpoint and Habitat for Humanity - "Meet military veteran Juan, his wife Stephany and their newborn baby. With the financial guidance of Clearpoint and Habitat for Humanity, they have climbed their way out of debt, made a financial plan for their growing family, and purchased a house. Citi is proud to support Clearpoint and Habitat for Humanity San Fernando/Santa Clarita Valleys, and salutes all veterans and military families."
  • Citi: NECHV: Helping End Veterans Homelessness in Boston - "Twelve percent of the adult homeless population are veterans. The New England Center and Home for Veterans in Boston wanted to expand their facilities to aid more veterans. Citi’s expertise in working with government and community organizations put the bank in a unique position to help arrange and provide the needed financing. Once the renovations are completed, the Center will better serve the needs of female veterans and help more people to find jobs and homes of their own."
