TA Center Webinar on Coordinated Assessment

The Coordinated Assessment process is rapidly becoming the norm for mainstream homeless assistance systems. Veteran-specific programs are participating in Coordinated Assessment systems because they allow a broader range of services to be made available to clients and reduce duplication of services. HVRP grantees already interact with both HUD-funded and VA-funded programs. Coordinated Assessment provides a smoother interaction among programs from a client's first contact and allows more effective communication about clients and services. This webinar gave an overview of Coordinated Assessment and provided HVRP grantees with the tools necessary to take advantage of all of the benefits of this rapidly evolving system.
