Contributions to NCHV support our efforts to strengthen and expand services to homeless veterans in 48 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and Guam. More than 85% of donations go directly into services. Projects that benefit from tax-deductible contributions include:

• Providing expert advice and assistance to Congress and the federal agencies involved with homeless veteran issues and service programs.
• Leadership in building and strengthening partnerships between service providers and local government agencies – to enhance service delivery and develop homeless prevention strategies. 
• Immediate notification about government, corporate and foundation grant availability for homeless service providers.
• Dynamic website – www.nchv.org – updated daily, a tool to strengthen organizations and their programs.
• Legislative alerts and analysis of legislation affecting homeless veterans and the nonprofit organizations providing services to them.
• Annual training conference in Washington, D.C., and regional conferences on a wide range of topics to benefit service providers.
• Nationwide toll-free Homeless Veteran Help Line, 1-800-VET-HELP
