In the News: Honolulu Makes Significant Progress in Ending Veteran Homelessness

A recent article in the Honolulu Star Adviser, Ranks of homeless veterans starting to thin, highlighted the impressive progress being made on Oahu to end veteran homelessness. With the number of homeless veterans on the island decreasing by 44 percent between January and August of this year, the ground-up collaboration between service providers, Honolulu Mayor Kirk Caldwell, Hawaii Governor David Ige, and national partners like Community Solutions, is making a definite impact.
