Creating Community Employment Pathways Guidebook Now Available

HUD has recently posted a Community Employment Pathways (CEP) guidebook entitled "Creating Community Employment Pathways" on the Homelessness Resource Exchange (HRE) website. The guidebook is designed to aid communities seeking to help people who are homeless obtain and maintain employment. The guidebook provides information from the perspectives of both the homeless assistance and workforce development systems and highlights successful program examples. It offers guidance on systems-level aspects of promoting and maintaining employment for people experiencing homelessness. The guidebook also contains information on program planning and design. It provides step-by-step advice for Continuum of Care (CoC) lead agencies, CoC working groups, homeless assistance providers, state and local Workforce Investment Boards, and One-Stop Career Center operators and partners.
