DCoE Director Leads Webcast

Brigadier General Loree K. Sutton, director of the Defense Centers of Excellence for Psychological Health and Traumatic Brain Injury (DCoE), recently made an online presentation called "Psychological Health and Stigma: DoD's Initiatives to Help Service Members and Their Families." The webcast, which was hosted by the Military Pathways program, was designed to teach active-duty soldiers, veterans and their respective family members about the barriers to mental health treatment as well as some of the available resources.
In her presentation, Brig. Gen. Sutton, who is the highest ranking psychiatrist in the Army, also highlighted the Real Warriors campaign, which is a DCoE initiative to combat the stigma associated with seeking psychological health care and treatment.
