Virtual Discussion to be Held on HPRP Implementation
Posted: 11/5/2009
The National Alliance to End Homelessness (NAEH) will host a Virtual Discussion on implementing the Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Program (HPRP), for which $1.5 billion in funds have been allocated. These funds, which must be spent within the next three years, are being distributed based on the formula used for the Emergency Shelter Grants program (see above link for more information).
Starting at 10 a.m. EST on Thursday, Nov. 12, and continuing throughout the day, NAEH staff and national partners will respond to participants’ HPRP questions. The discussion will be held on the Alliance online community, Community ShareNet.
On the day of the discussion, log in, click on the “Discussion” tab at the top of the page and look for the “HPRP Implementation” thread toward the middle of the page.
