Good afternoon and thank you for joining us on this conference call today. My name is Kristina Hunken and I am a Program Assistant for the National Coalition for Homeless Veterans. I will be facilitating today’s call on Collaboration and Resources.

For today’s speaker panel, we are very happy to have representatives from highly successful veteran service providers from around the country. Our three speakers are:  

• Barbara Ousley, the Veteran Department Program Manager of The Salvation Army Bell Shelter in Bell, California
• Joe Sluszka, Executive Director of Albany Housing Coalition Inc. in Albany, New York
• Reverend Scott Rogers, Executive Director of the Asheville Buncombe Community Christian Ministry in Asheville, North Carolina

The focus of today’s teleconference is Collaboration and Resources. Our speakers will give brief overviews of their organizations' programs, descriptions of services, and describe some of the collaborations/partners they have and offer suggestions and guidance on how service providers may create those connections within their communities.

Today’s call is being recorded and is made possible by technical assistance grants given to NCHV. Notes and presentation materials will be posted on the NCHV website following the call.

Each speaker will be given 20 minutes for his or her presentation. There will be a question and answer session following the presentations.
