Donor Advised Funds
Donor-advised funds provide the freedom to make contributions to any charity, at any time. Through a donor-advised fund, you can designate your gift with a special appeal, make an unrestricted annual gift, or recommend a recurring payment. A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a charitable giving account that allows you to invest, grow and distribute your assets to charities in a meaningful and impactful way. Donations made to a DAF are tax-deductible, and assets within a DAF grow tax-free. You can recommend a grant to charities of your choice at any time. Check out our GuideStar Profile for more information about NCHV.

How to recommend a gift to the National Coalition for Homeless Veterans:

1. Request a grant distribution through your DAF sponsor.

2. Identify the National Coalition for Homeless Veterans as the beneficiary EIN: 52-1826860

3. Indicate whether your gift is unrestricted, or if you would like to designate to a specific campaign or event. You can also set up an ongoing schedule with your DAF for recurring donations.
